I’m Caty, and this is my first year in Turkey, but I’m no stranger to living abroad. I was born in Berlin, then spent seven years in Malaysia, after that it was nine years in Taipei, and now Izmir! I have just started my lise 3 year at the American Collegiate Institute in Izmir, and though it’s been an adventure, Izmir definitely feels like a good fit so far. My parents are here with me, my dad is the new director of the school and my mom teaches at SEV, the lower school across the street. I also have a sister at Emerson College in Boston. That pretty much sums up my life so far.
